We approach postproduction the same way a chef approaches the task of preparing a gourmet meal. First, the highest quality and freshest ingredients are sourced and selected. Then they are peeled, sliced, deboned, sautéed, blended, seared, and baked. Finally, these elements are layered, each with its important role to play, plated, garnished, and presented at just the right moment.

Ok it’s actually a lot of hours sitting at a computer. But there are many similarities, and an editor has to dream.
